Achoimre:The present investigation corresponds to the development of a methodology that allows the identification, evaluation and control of chemical risks within the dosing area of chemical inputs in the water treatment plant of Morona Canton. Within risk management, within the proposed methodology begins with the identification of risk factors, that is, the characteristic of the bibliography of the inputs, the uses of the dosage area, subsequently was made, on the basis of the laboratory techniques, the description of the techniques used in the investigation to determine the concentration of each of the water quality parameters that represent the value of the risk to which workers are exposed in the area of interest. Based on the identified risk factors, the pH, alkalinity, sulfate (aluminum sulphate), calcium (calcium hydroxide) and fecal coliform measurement are established as risk assessment parameters, given that each of the parameters depending on the amount of inputs used and the suitability of the dosing process in the area of interest. Subsequently, the assessment of the established parameters was carried out with the application of specific analytical techniques within the proposed methodology, registering all the parameters in compliance with the national regulations and reference standards, both water quality and safety, not similar to the valuation of the coliform variable with 49.7118 CFU that exceed the allowable value, so it can be used before a previous infection occurs
