Gaia:The abuse of alcoholic beverages in rehabilitated patients represents a risk of developing oral diseases, given that aggravating factors such as inadequate diet, increased acidity in saliva, and poor or inadequate oral hygiene are present; all these impacts the development of their usual activities and lifestyle since it is common knowledge that alcohol not only damages the body but has long-term consequences that put the patient in terrible situations and consequences, not only talking about their oral health but also mentioning that the body of these patients becomes more and more dependent on alcohol every day and that leads to a malfunction of the whole organism. Therefore, the present research work has been proposed as objectives to identify the oral and dental diseases that are manifested in rehabilitated alcoholic patients through the bibliographic review for this study. This research is descriptive, transversal, and documentary, considering as a basis a bibliographic review of articles in different search engines such as Google Scholar, Scielo, etc., which contributed to the development of the research, managing to compile 641 articles that were subjected to research variables, keywords, etc., giving a result of 46 valid scientific articles. From the main results, it can be seen that most of the articles were found in Google Scholar. The above-mentioned bibliographic review database shows a greater tendency in publications with 26 articles, considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria proposed in the research. Likewise, it was obtained that, in a range of 10 years from 2012 - 2022, but in 2018 and 2021, more publications were registered according to the inclusion criteria. Finally, it is established that the support of health professionals is essential as a guide by providing updated information on the harm caused by alcohol in oral and general health and its negative impact on quality of life, as well as trying to use more what is preventive dentistry since trying to prevent the patient or making warnings can avoid many subsequent treatments that if we manage to make the patient aware.
