Etiketa erantsi | Gaia: | The present research entitled “Play as a strategy to strengthen self-concept in children of the initial level 2 in the Cicalpa Educational Unit in the Colta canton” had as its general objective to determine the importance of play as a strategy to strengthen the self-concept of children of the initial level. The methodology used was based on the quantitative approach, non-experimental design, observation technique and its instrument the observation sheet, which allowed to obtain all the necessary information. For the data collection a sample of 8 students from the Cicalpa educational unit was considered. Based on the above, we can say that the results obtained have allowed us to know that 30% of children have good self-esteem, the rest are still in the process. By applying the activities related to play, it has allowed us to forge cognitive, emotional, social, and physical skills, giving us a satisfactory result. |
