要約:This project describes Riobamba's urban configuration, emphasizing its urban morphology and irregular growth in the periphery; these consolidated areas are called polygons of social interest. As a result, the Chibunga River faces environmental problems mainly. The Chibunga linear park, currently in a state of degradation and underutilization, holds immense potential. Our proposal aims to harness these natural elements to revitalize the urban and environmental edge of the city, creating a vibrant green corridor that spans from south to north. As a starting point, the aim is to analyze the current condition and the urban impact on the territory. From this data, both urban and environmental solutions can be provided. Therefore, the project is an urban and landscape proposal to rescue the natural area and control disorganized growth. Among the objectives is the implementation of a green corridor that guarantees the connectivity of these now segregated spaces, promotes the development of the territory, and, in general, improves the quality of life of its inhabitants. Likewise, the green corridor will be supported by a master plan at the economic and cultural level that seeks to dynamize the territory and protect social and environmental interests. In essence, this project is a comprehensive response to Riobamba's urban challenges. It needs to address the issues at the urban level but also proposes holistic solutions to restore the river, reorganize the territory, and foster sustainable development for the entire city. The methodology employed is designed to be replicable, ensuring long-term success.
