“La laguna de Colta como espacio de interacción social y su incidencia en el imaginario de los habitantes de la parroquia Santiago de quito del cantón Colta en las edades comprendidas entre 15 a 44 años en el periodo enero - junio 2016”

Social communication is one of the ways that people have organized their understanding of the world, moving today to a multidisciplinary field of study, through which we can observe and analyze the daily lives of society. The present research project has the purpose of knowing the incidence of Colta Lagoon as a space for social interaction in the imaginary of the inhabitants of the parish of Santiago de Quito, in the Colta canton. For the elaboration it is presented: the approach of the problem, the objectives, the theoretical framework, the research methodology and the discussion, based on particularities that are part of the two variables of the subject to investigate such as: Laguna de Colta; Interaction and communication and social imaginaries. Cultural, social and communicative parameters were established. A fundamental pillar in the research is the structuralist theory, with its main representative Ferdinand Sassure, conceiving the social whole as a result of a structure whose manifestation is represented therefore means and is expressed in language, ie "everything means something" ; Within this theory it is necessary to emphasize the presence of the signifier (concept) and the meaning (mental representation). The research will be based on the scientific method (inductive, descriptive, analytical). The design and types of research will be: descriptive, documentary-bibliographic and field. The sample to be used will be 316 people belonging to the parish of Santiago de Quito in the canton Colta.
