| सारांश: | Creativity is a dynamic, reflective, and unique process that involves reconstructing, imagining, and reinterpreting reality. Imagination, in this context, creativity opens doors to understanding the world in innovative ways, shaping the evolution of both social and technological spheres. This research seeks to explore creativity among students in the Psychopedagogy program at the National University of Chimborazo, focusing on both its overall level and its various dimensions. The study also compares general creativity between male and female students. Methodologically, the study employs a quantitative, descriptive-comparative approach, utilizing a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. Sixty-three students from the fifth and sixth semesters of the Psychopedagogy program participated in this study. Participants were selected through non-probabilistic intentional sampling. Data was collected using the VALCREA creativity assessment scale. The findings indicate that the predominant creativity level is medium, both in terms of general creativity and its specific dimensions. Regarding gender differences, male students exhibited a tendency towards an upper-middle creativity level, while female students showed a predominance of the normal level. However, statistical analysis using the chisquare test revealed no significant differences between the two groups. |
