Aplicación de la técnica de modelado 3d, en la representación de monumentos de personajes históricos riobambeños

This research is focused on 3d modeling. In this paper we are going to show different historical characters from Riobamba city. Because of the needed to preserve the culture, we wanted to diffuse this knowledge by research, protecting, and digital transmission of Riobamba’s roots. Our theorical basis is founded on cultural Riobamba’s heritage taking into consideration the historic center and the monuments of the representative characters with their respective biography. Also, we detail 3D modeling technique which we used to build our characters. Our methodology follows Design thinking without losing the philosophy of scientific method. Then, we take the way of descriptive and bibliographic field. Basically, we did our research with collaboration of 74 students, 3 professional professors of Graphic Design, and one person from Patrimonio Cultural del GAD Municipal de Riobamba. Before to start this Project, we consider basical steps as pre-production, production, and post-production of ZBrush Program. In conclusión, 3D modelling has a great impact into creation of historical Riobamba’s characters in order to preserv, and diffuse the knowledge of those people. With this Project we want to save and divulge the importance of Riobamba’s culture. With the importance of digital advance, we sure that this Project is totally educational for society.
