| Resumo: | ABSTRACT This research entitled "Physical Education and intercultural strengthening in students of the Educational Unit" Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre "Alausí - Chimborazo", seeks to establish strategies that allow students to strengthen interculturality through physical education. The study focused on the students of the Unified General Baccalaureate of the educational institution. The project objective was to select and promote various activities that help develop human beings mentally, physically, and psychologically in a comprehensively and harmoniously way. In order to achieve a better quality of life and contribute to family, social and productive development. The fluid used was mixed. The quantitative approach worked with a sample of 100 students, the research technique used was the survey, through which data on interculturality and Physical Education were collected; while the qualitative method was utilized as a research of a social nature since the area of knowledge in Education and Sciences is configured as a humanistic study. The study was carried out by interviewing a random sample of students. The results of the study indicate that the concept of interculturality has weakened due to various factors such as migration, globalization, reach of technology. Thus, the didactic guide will become an important tool that helps teachers to fulfil the transcendental role in the development of cultural identity, which is why this guide aims to introduce various strategies that are utilized in the Physical Education field to achieve intercultural strengthening in students. Therefore, it is recommended to apply the detailed strategies in such a way that they contribute to improving the relationship between education and culture.
