Riassunto:During the first years of life, children need nutrition, protection and stimulation so that their brain develops favorably; The first experiences of a child are direct with the parents and the educational environment, this could be a trigger in their physical, cognitive, emotional and social development in the future. that is why current students face challenges and demands that the medium demands (ADHD) is a frequent problem, evident in some children who instantly receive new knowledge do not express interest in learning and prefer to perform other activities showing aggressiveness and Annoyance with teachers and classmates for the assigned tasks. Within the observation practices in the Educational Unit "Cap. Edmundo Chiriboga "was observed a number of emotional problems, as psychopedagogical, but, most worrying was that there was a group of students diagnosed ADHD with behavioral difficulties which motivated me to the realization of this project. The general objective of the study is to determine the relationship between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and the academic performance of the children of the Capitán Edmundo Chiriboga Educational Unit, Riobamba, October 2018 - March 2019. The direct beneficiaries are the children diagnosed; for greater veracity in the results we worked with teachers in the EDAH Test application, which allows us to contribute with innovative ideas, recommendations for future research.
