Description
Résumé:ABSTRACT: The study, which is of a documentary nature, aimed to determine the effects of gerontogymnastics in the physiotherapeutic care of Alzheimer’s patients by using it as an indicator factor of non-pharmacological treatment. It did this by conducting an academically rigorous scientific evaluation of articles in order to provide a reliable source of information for the community at large. Alzheimer's is a progressive neurological disease that affects persons over 65 more frequently and is marked by memory loss. Age, which reduces the functional ability of the old and fosters dependence, is one of the risk factors for developing Alzheimer's. About 95 articles comprise the information gathered from various trustworthy databases and meet the criteria for impact, scientific quality, and methodology. The results demonstrate beneficial effects on the patient's physical and cognitive function, resulting in increased independence in the development of daily activities of life.
