Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | The research ́s purpose is to propose a Digital Illustration of Characters to Promote the Christmas Party of the Saraguro Indigenous Culture, evidencing the need to apply it for the cultural revaluation of the Saraguro people, showing the possibility of incorporating new methods to disseminate the cultural traditions, through the current identifying graphics of the characters of the Saraguro Indigenous culture through a collection of digital illustrations aimed at young people and adults for cultural strengthening. The creation of narrative illustrations was established to generate awareness among the Saraguro people and disseminated through digital platforms through an Ebook; the critical concept for the design of the photograph was a guide to the character creation process, which contributed to the fundamental aspects such as the reticular part, chromatic, clothing, and accessories of the characters. The applied methodology was mixed, arising from integrating quantitative and qualitative research, exploratory research, and non-experimental design. It was determined that most individuals recognized the characters, functions, and meaning of the customs; the participants indicated the cultural relevance of the traditions through cultural identity since, during the Christmas holidays, a certain degree of identity was lost by the imposition of the Catholic Church, but that they try to maintain through their crafts, architecture, symbology, as well as the characteristic language that differentiates them from other populations.
