Achoimre:The present research work refers to the topic of "Social behavior in students of the National University of Chimborazo". Its objective was to analyze the level of social behavior in first and second semester students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Humanities and Technologies. Social behavior refers to a process that is set in motion by people within a social context, which is represented as a space of interaction that enables internalization in relation to behaviors and behaviors in a person. The research approach used was quantitative since the information collected was used for statistical analysis. The technique used in the present study is psychometric, in this case the BAS 3 test (Socialization Battery for Self-Assessment) was applied. The research methodology responds to a non-experimental design, a descriptive and correlational type of research. In addition, it is of field and directed with a non-probabilistic and intentional sample and was conformed by 206 university students between 17 and 19 years old, of first and second semester of careers of the Faculty of Education Sciences, Humanities and Technologies. The results indicate that in the self-evaluation of university students in the BAS-3 test, they have an acceptable development of social behavior in terms of the three facilitating dimensions. Likewise, there is also an unacceptable development of social behavior corresponding to the two inhibitory dimensions.
