This instrument was applied to 44 students for the collection of data the same ones that were processed statistically using the Microsoft Excel 2013 tool, with descriptive statistics techniques. At the end of the resolution of the test was determined that the software most used by students in solving mathematical problems is Geogebra but at the same time almost the same number of students does not use any software to solve math problems in solve it Traditional way. Finally, it is recommended to strengthen the use of TICS, with the application of different methodologies, methods and techniques in the curriculum grid of each semester to obtain better results. |

Finally, it is recommended to strengthen the use of TICS, with the application of different methodologies, methods and techniques in the curriculum grid of each semester to obtain better results.Este trabajo investigativo busca saber cuál es la utilización de las TICS en la resolución de problemas de matemática en los estudiantes de la carrera de ciencias exactas de la Facultad de ciencias de la educación, Humanas y Tecnologías de la UNACH, ya que hoy en día estamos en la era tecnológica y por tanto la educación no puede quedarse atrás por lo que tiene que ir de la mano con la utilización de las TICS para poder obtener mejores resultados en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de nuestros estudiantes que serán futuros docentes, para ello se desarrolló un test de acuerdo a los contenidos del silabo de cada semestre para que los estudiantes de nuestra carrera lo resuelvan con la utilización de cualquier software que ellos crean conveniente. Este instrumento se aplicó a 44 estudiantes para la recolección de datos los mismos que fueron procesados estadísticamente utilizando la herramienta Microsoft Excel 2013, con técnicas de estadística descriptiva. Al final de la resolución del test se logró determinar que el software más utilizado por los estudiantes en la resolución de problemas matemáticos es Geogebra pero al mismo tiempo casi el mismo número de estudiantes no utiliza software alguno para resolver problemas de matemática es decir lo resuelven de manera tradicional.
