For this purpose, we start from structuralist theory, taking into account that the political scenarios in which are always present elements with meaning and symbolism which need to be properly understood. This investigation is based on a descriptive methodology taking into account qualitative matrices for an in-depth analysis, using a total of 840 tweets in Guillermo Lasso's account. In summary, Twitter has become a powerful tool in communication that allows to generate clear and immediate messages positioning political campaign, while at the same time persuades the target audience effectively through well-constructed discursive lines. English professor. c.c. 180179272RESUMEN Dentro de la siguiente investigación se aborda el análisis de discurso dentro del escenario político y sus interacciones que nos permite comprender en mayor nivel la dimensión política que se desenvuelve en redes sociales tomando a Twitter como una de ellas. Para ello se parte de la teoría estructuralista teniendo en cuenta que los escenarios políticos en donde se desenvuelven siempre están presentes los elementos con significado y simbolismo los cuales necesitan ser entendidos adecuadamente, Esta investigación parte de la metodología descriptiva tomando en cuenta matrices cualitativas para un análisis a profundidad, empleando un total de 840 tweets en la cuenta de Guillermo Lasso.
