| 要約: | ABSTRACT This literature review relates to the immediate dentin sealing technique (IDS) in adhesive restorative procedures. The study sought to analyze this procedure with its different techniques, materials, advantages, and disadvantages. For this purpose, a selection and review of 60 high quality academic scientific publications was carried out by analyzing the contribution through their impact factor indexes (SJR) of the journal of publication and their average citation count. SDI produces an open dentin wound that must be sealed immediately to counteract the symptoms that impact the patient, such as sensitivity and bacterial contamination. Among the various treatment approaches available, adhesive resins seem to provide an adequate level of sealing. The use of the technique helps to achieve higher bond strength, less gap formation, less bacterial leakage, and less dentin sensitivity. Using the different adhesives, whether it is a one-step, two-step, or three-step adhesive, the study concluded that each adhesive has the same advantages. The difference is in the handling time of these adhesives. It is recommended to perform an SDI with materials and techniques that have been already tested so adhesive processes are improved. Keywords: Restorative Procedures, Sensitivity. Reviewed by: MsC. Adriana Cundar Ruano, Ph.D. ENGLISH PROFESSOR c.c. 1709268534 |
