| Tóm tắt: | The present research work, entitled “Playfulness as a Resource in the Development of Attention in Children of Sublevel 2 of the Carlos Cisneros Educational Unit, Riobamba Canton”, has as its main objective to analyze playfulness as a resource in the development of attention in children of this educational sublevel. A qualitative methodology was employed, using an observation form applied to 23 children, covering dimensions such as listening skills, directed interaction, prolonged concentration, interest in details, ability to complete tasks, and persistence. The findings indicate that playfulness and attention are fundamental, as they provide entertainment and stimulate concentration through structured and free play. These activities allow children to focus on tasks, follow instructions, and solve problems, strengthening their attention. This process is crucial for developing cognitive and emotional skills, preparing them to face challenges and relate effectively to their environment. In addition, integrating play and attention enriches their play experience and establishes the basis for an integral formation in their teaching-learning process. |
