description The research titled DOME Software for investigating accidents at the shoe factory Lexmax, aims to demonstrate that the percentage of Industrial Accidents is correctly reported greater after application DOME Software. The research is based epistemologically on two premises empirical and rationalist position is based axiologically in computer ethics to solve problems that could give as invasion of privacy, protecting the integrity of the data, the software has the mission of service society and explains the causes of the process from a sociological perspective, is based on the Constitution of Ecuador, international agreements signed and ratified by the ILO, Regulations of the Andean Instrument on Safety and Health, Resolution 957, Andean Instrument on Safety and Health Decision CAN 584, etc. The theoretical framework is proposed based on the study variables with the following topics: occupational hazards, accidents at work, classified as accident, action and sub standard condition, causes of accidents, free software events. The research is quasi-experimental design based on a research design using a before-after study, applied, and field. We worked with a population of 20 employees working in the areas of cut, Aparado, armed, stuck, finished, administrative area, and the sample is 13 workers were those who suffered accidents at work. As an alternative guidelines for solving the problem is poses a DOME Software developed a web platform that runs the process for investigating accidents that before application showed a 59.4% reporting accidents properly prepared and after its application it determined a percentage of 100% of accidents reported correctly. It is concluded that the implementation of software DOME allowed to increase the number of correct reports of accidents occurred, and thus avoid penalties for failing to comply with regulations for the proper reporting of accidents. It is recommended to maintain and update the software for the process of investigating accidents in this way to know the underlying causes and implement the respective corrective measures and complete Management System Occupational Safety and Health to ensure the health of workers and safe working environment.

La investigación se fundamenta epistemológicamente en dos premisas una empírica y la posición racionalista, se fundamenta axiológicamente en la ética informática para resolver problemas que se pudieran dar como invasión a la privacidad, protegiendo la integridad de los datos, el software tiene como misión el servicio a la sociedad y explica las causas del proceso desde una perspectiva sociológica, se basa en la Constitución del Ecuador, Convenios Internacionales suscritos y ratificados por la OIT, Reglamentos al Instrumento Andino de Seguridad y Salud, Resolución 957, Instrumento Andino de Seguridad y Salud, Decisión 584 CAN, etc. El marco teórico se plantea basándonos en las variables de estudios con los siguientes temas: riesgos laborales, accidente de trabajo, eventos calificados como accidente de trabajo, acción y condición sub estándar, causas de los accidentes de trabajo, software libre. La investigación es de diseño cuasi experimental basada en un diseño utilizando la investigación de un estudio antes-después, aplicada, y de campo. Se trabajó con una población de 20 empleados que trabajan en las áreas de cortado, aparado, armado, pegado, terminado, área administrativa, y la muestra es de 13 trabajadores que fueron los que sufrieron los accidentes laborales. Como lineamientos alternativos de solución a la problemática se plantea un Software DOME elaborado con una plataforma web que ejecuta el proceso para la investigación de accidentes laborales que antes de su aplicación presentaba un 59.4% de reportes de accidentes laborales elaborados correctamente y luego de su aplicación se determinó un porcentaje del 100% de accidentes laborales reportados correctamente. Se concluye que la implementación del software DOME permitió aumentar el número de reportes correctos de accidentes laborales ocurridos, y de esta manera evitar sanciones por no cumplir con la normativa vigente para el reporte correcto de los accidentes laborales.
