“El impacto del desempleo sobre el consumo final de los hogares en el Ecuador, periodo 2000-2014”

In this research Project, the impact of unemployment on final consumption of households in Ecuador 2000-2014 period; the study is centered on the effects of unemployment which is considered as an economic, social and personal phenomenon; derived from the imbalance between supply and demand for labor, macroeconomic effects, political costs of economic crisis in the country; and influencing private consumption by reducing disposable income, bibliographic information and quantitative data using tables. Charts, analysis and discussion of the results in evident. The content of the detailed investigation has four chapters as follows: Chapter I, Referential Framework is composed of Approach and problem formulation, general and specific objectives, rationale and relevant importance in the research project. Chapter II, Theoretical Framework, is structured in four units, detailed concepts, principles and assumptions. With regard to unemployment, the definition, characteristics, types, causes and economi8c effects stands; in final consumption of households theories, sources and consumption patterns defined; in the next unit the relationship between unemployment and final consumption was established additionally highlighting the multiple linear regression model and empirical evidence, Chapter III Methodological Framework describes the research methodology and analysis of results, the behavior of the estimation of econometric model, though model estimated by the method of ordinary least squares linear regression. Chapter IV, described the findings, from research findings and the respective recommendations give importance in later works.
