NICANOR LARREA LEON EDUCATIONAL UNIT” Where the researcher conducted his/her pre-professional internship. Throughout the connection to playfulness as a fundamental tool to promote learning, entertainment and fun, providing children with enriching educational experiences. The main objective is to explore play strategies for the self-esteem of students, due to the existence of a lack of integration of the process with playful strategies, such as cooperative learning and challenge-based learning, in order to contribute to a healthy self-esteem, facilitating the integral formation and solidifying their self-acceptance, resilience and self-confidence. The random sample of 31 children to whom have been focused on their emotional development. Likewise, the work was based on a qualitative approach with a non-experimental design, allowing a deeper understanding of how students perceive the study variables. The research techniques included a questionnaire of 10 open-ended questions and non-participant with observation and a field diary, to collect information on how they act, their feelings, emotions and actions. It has been obtained as a result through the observation of the categories playfulness and self-esteem, together with cooperative learning and challenge based learning to improve their confidence because of the activities that encourage the pupils to faith in themselves, also to become more resilient to create a very pleasant and meaningful learning and development environment.

Es así que, se planteó como objetivo principal explorar estrategias lúdicas para el autoestima de los estudiantes, dado que el problema surge debido a una existencia de carencia respecto a la implementación de juegos que fomenten el crecimiento personal y la motivación de los niños en las unidades educativas donde la investigadora realizó sus prácticas preprofesionales. A través de la integración del proceso con estrategias lúdicas, tales como aprendizaje cooperativo y aprendizaje basado en retos se buscó contribuir en una autoestima saludable, facilitando así a la formación integral de los niños y solidificando su autoaceptación, resiliencia y autoconfianza. La unidad de análisis para este trabajo fueron 31 niños de 4to E.G.B “C” de la Unidad Educativa “Dr. Nicanor Larrea León”, a los cuales se les realizó estrategias enfocándose en su desarrollo emocional. Así mismo, el trabajo se fundamentó en un enfoque cualitativo con un diseño no experimental, permitiendo una comprensión más profunda de como los estudiantes perciben las variables de estudio. Las técnicas de investigación incluyeron la entrevista a través de un cuestionario de 10 preguntas abiertas y la observación no participante con guías de observación y diario de campo, para recoger información sobre cómo actúan los niños, cuáles son sus sentimientos, emociones y acciones, con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos establecidos.
