Add Tag | Summary: | This research addressed the study of the processes of the Industrial Engineering program at the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo for the year 2024. Since the program does not have its own standardized procedures, difficulties arise in the proper execution of its processes. The main objective of the study was to analyze the management processes of the Industrial Engineering program using process-management tools to standardize the most critical ones. A documentary, descriptive, field-based, and cross-sectional research methodology was applied. Additionally, the research design was non-experimental and qualitative. Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the procedures with the highest levels of dissatisfaction were Research Project, Comprehensive Exam, Pre-professional Internships, and the Execution of Community Service Projects within the program. The study also verified the absence of documentation for current activities, despite the existence of an institutional management system. Under this consideration, a quality management system design aligned with the international ISO 9001:2015 standard was proposed. |
