| סיכום: | In the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Humanities and Technologies of the National University of Chimborazo, many students face emotional problems that affect their daily lives. In this research, the first inter-career sports games were organized in the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Humanities and Technologies of the National University of Chimborazo to demonstrate how sports can improve the emotional health of students. Seven careers participated with a total of 80 representatives in disciplines such as basketball and futsal. For the organization of the event, an operating system was used to facilitate the management of the event. The abbreviated Profile of Mood States (POMS) questionnaire was applied before and after the games to evaluate the mood of the participants and its relationship with sports performance. The research is of field type, carried out at the National University of Chimborazo, and of transversal type, since it was developed in a specific period within the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Humanities and Technologies. The design is quasi-experimental due to the application of the questionnaire to 80 students. For the analysis of the results, statistical calculations were performed by applying a Friedman test for related samples, in order to correlate the data of the questionnaire pre and post intervention. The results showed that the inter-race sports games had a significant positive impact on the students' personal and social factors, with a significance level of 0.00 in the emotional areas evaluated.
