Criterios de emplazamiento utilizados por los medios impresos los andes y la prensa de Riobamba, periodo enero – junio de 2018.

This research is carried out with the purpose of knowing about the location criteria that are used by the print media La Prensa and Los Andes in the period January-June 2018. This research is based on concepts about print media, communication and placement in writings and other conceptions. In addition, to use communication theories that support the analysis of this work. The use of techniques and methods to collect information allowed us to carry out an analysis of the contents of the written media, we started from a macro study to the micro structuring of the pages, also this allowed us to know the characteristics that journalists use in these media at the time of transferring its informative content to the pages. In the same way, the contribution of the clarifications expressed by the news directors of the print media is important, we will know the reality that revolves around journalistic work and the location that is the basis of our study analysis. On the other hand, the qualitative results obtained in this research refer us to the fact that the use of placement criteria is based on templates previously established in each print media, this allows to journalists to order their notes based on the relevance that they Provide him. Finally, the influence of criteria, hierarchy and importance of local, regional, national and international news events will be established, print media are essential in society to create a collective with critical criteria, compared to social, political, economic realities, among others, that affect the development of our city.
