Likewise, establish the relevant characteristics, the mechanism of action and the manipulation of the different direct and indirect dentine-pulpal protectors, describe the different options of dentine-pulpal protectors available considering their effectiveness, advantages and disadvantages and determine the importance of the use of dentine-pulpal protectors. as a method of conservation of the pulpal dentine complex. To carry out this study, the search was carried out through recognized scientific databases such as PubMed, Elsevier, Google Scholar, Latindex and Scopus, covering publications that are within the last 10 years, choosing 71 articles with high scientific relevance for be analyzed. The results mention that the indications for use of pulpal dentine protectors depend on factors such as the type of lesion, the radiographic evaluation, the time and type of bleeding, the origin of the lesion, the pulp diagnosis and the age of the patient. The relevant characteristics of the materials depend on each one, however, ideal characteristics are mentioned as biocompatibility, induction for mineralization, easy handling, short setting times, affordable costs, not being cytotoxic, avoiding microleaks and stimulating pulp healing and regeneration. Despite the advantages and disadvantages that the biomaterials studied have, materials whose effectiveness have been evaluated in time intervals of up to 10 years stand out, where HCSCs such as Biodentine and MTA stand out for their effectiveness, consequently the importance of the use of Pulp dentine protectors focus mainly on the conservation of pulp vitality, linked to the strengthening of the inherent defensive and regenerative responses of the pulp, preservation of the dental structure with the intention of achieving the objectives of minimally invasive dentistry. |

Así también establecer los materiales de protección dentino pulpar más relevantes mediante el análisis de sus características, mecanismo de acción y manipulación, identificar el material de mejor y menor calidad tomando en cuenta su efectividad, ventajas y desventajas y determinar la importancia del uso de protectores dentino pulpares como método de conservación del complejo dentino pulpar. La búsqueda de información para el desarrollo de este estudio se realizó con ayuda de PubMed, Elsevier, Google Scholar, Latindex y Scopus, abarcando publicaciones que estén dentro de los últimos 10 años, eligiendo 71 artículos con una alta relevancia científica para ser analizados. Los resultados mencionan que las indicaciones de uso de los protectores dentino pulpares dependen de factores como el tipo de lesión, la evaluación radiografía, el tiempo y tipo de sangrado, el origen de la lesión, el diagnóstico pulpar y la edad del paciente. Las características relevantes de los materiales dependen de cada uno, sin embargo, se menciona como características ideales la biocompatibilidad, la inducción para la mineralización, que sea de fácil manipulación, tiempos cortos para fraguar, costos accesibles, no ser citotóxicos, evitar microfiltraciones y estimular la curación y regeneración pulpar.
