| Sumari: | The research project aims to: Analyze stress and anxiety in nursing staff. The design of the research is transversal and not experimental, making use of a field investigation, the level of the research is descriptive. The population consisted of 80 nursing staff, through the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the sample of 68 workers was selected. The instruments used to measure the work stress variable were: The Stress Scale for Nurses (NSS Nursing Stress Scale) (More Pons & Type Agüir., 1998) and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) (Miravalles, 2011) that evaluates three areas Main: Emotional Tiredness, Depersonalization and Personal Realization. And for the variable of Anxiety: The Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HARS) (Bobes Garcia, García Portilla, Bascarán Fernández, Sáiz Martínez, & Bousoño García, 2004). It was evidenced that in the NSS test 83.82% were once affected by work stress and that 44.11% when evaluated by the Hamilton test do not present anxiety, therefore, despite the fact that there are certain levels of Work-related stress is not a determining factor in generating anxiety. At the end of this research project, it is recommended that the institution's authorities develop workshops and induction courses on the management of relaxation and breathing techniques so that the nursing staff can reduce the different levels of stress and anxiety. |
