Резюме:Emotional intelligence is a key competence that allows managing emotions effectively, facilitating adaptation to challenging situations and promoting healthy coping strategies, while academic stress is a psychological response to task overload, performance pressure and the demands of the university environment, which can affect the mental health and academic performance of students. Thus, the main objective was to analyze emotional intelligence and academic stress in university students. For this purpose, a literature review was carried out, for which the methodological triangulation technique was used and the CRF-QS scale was applied, which classifies the studies into five levels, through this process the inclusion of research with academic rigor that contributed significant evidence to the analysis was guaranteed, consolidating a total of 21 scientific articles selected through proposed selection criteria and which are within the last 10 years. To evaluate the methodological quality of the papers analyzed, the CRF-QS scale, which classifies the studies into five levels, was applied through this process, which guaranteed the inclusion of research with academic rigor that contributed significant evidence to the analysis. The results showed that the population presented medium and high levels of emotional intelligence and moderate and high levels of academic stress. In conclusion, it is highlighted that there is a prevalence of moderate and high levels in both variables. Finally, it is recommended to implement psychological support programs for academic stress and to promote emotional regulation.
