The Board of Higher Education (CES), through Academic Regulations has dictated that all Institutions of Higher Education (IES) must submit the redesign study curriculum of all careers which are currently active by the deadlines established in this regulation; otherwise, these careers must be registered in the SNIESE with the status of “Not enabled to register a degree. “Currently, it is evident that the career of Computer Science for Education partially meets the needs and demands of all participants in the developing areas and the National Plan for Good Living. Unfortunately, it does not respond fully to the needs of the environment, so it is necessary to know if the Bachelors in Computer Science related to Education is relevant, as well as determining occupational demand, labor and professional profile. The descriptive method was used to stablish relevance because it allows defining the tensions, needs and problems related to educational context in the area of Computer Science in the Guano-Penipe district. This was a field research since surveys were applied at 14 educational institutions that were part of the experimental group.
