SYTSA CIA LTDA, is a company that provides the service of transporting heavy loads by road, its headquarters are located in the city of Quito and it has a branch in the city of Tulcán, this company is a leader in the logistics industry since 1987. It supports the whole operations in management systems designed to ensure the achievement of high quality standards, physical security and labor security of its staff. In order to ensure a suitable working environment for its employees, the company develops the management system based on OHSAS 18001, for which a series of audits was conducted by SGS del Ecuador Certification Company. The development and implementation of Labor Risk Management for the prevention of incidents, accidents and/or occupational diseases was proposed in this company, for which the areas and job posts have been identified, the evaluation methods are: checklists, surveys, interviews, the RULA method, William Fine, dose, NTP 750, COPsoQ, Istas 21, and the use of instruments such as sound meter, light meter and a dosimeter. Several risk factors are evaluated; the result is the implementation of techniques and procedures that help in the continuous improvement of an optimal working environment. With all these parameters, the certification was achieved based on the OHSAS 18001, which accredits SYTSA CIA LTDA. as a company that has an Occupational Security and Health Management System which is optimal in order to develop its activities.
