Sumario:The present research work is of great importance to know, how interpersonal relationships influence on academic performance, that is why, the problem was raised and is being sought through the inquiry response, there were proposed specific objectives to be attained at the end of the scan. Furthermore by using the theoretical framework, we were able to clear the two study variables, which allowed us to learn more about the subject, a field research of descriptive character was conducted with the help of the survey to the students of the tenth year, parallels "A", "B", "C", "D", of the Educational Unit "Fernando Daquilema" city of Riobamba, Chimborazo province, quimestral period March-July 2015, it was compiling and adapting the suggestions of several specialized authors worked directly with those involved are 152 students, concluding with the tabulation of them represented in: graphics, statistics, analysis and interpretation paintings, drawing the conclusion that interpersonal relationships if they influence academic performance of adolescents, because they are always interacting and integrating with their peers, it is recommended that young people are made aware of how to interact with respect to interpersonal relationships because this will enable them to achieve an optimal integral development and thus develop better interpersonal relationships.
