总结:Urinary tract infections are the leading cause of morbidity at the maternal-fetal level, together with anemia in pregnant adolescents. This study aimed to relate the urinalysis results and the risk factors for urinary tract infections in pregnant adolescents. This study was descriptive and quantitative, had a non-experimental field design, cross-sectional and retrospective, its collection technique is based on the use of an information collection form, with a population of 153, inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied obtaining a sample of 105 patients, the results obtained in laboratory tests indicated that there are 21% of patients who did not undergo any laboratory test, 62% blood biometry and 17% urine microscopic elemental; In addition, within the risk factors such as socioeconomic level, ethnicity, age, menarche, place of origin, these variables are independent, because with the help of the IBM SPSS Stadistics 25 program, p-values > 0.05 in the Chi-square and the P-value close to 0 were obtained; in comparison with the weeks of gestation there is a minimal variation with p= 0.056, so these are dependent on the presence of urinary tract infections and to conclude, a prevalence of urinary tract infection of 40.95% of the total medical records reviewed at the Hospital Provincial General Docente de Riobamba in the period 2021 - 2023 was observed, mainly during the third trimester of gestation.
