| Résumé: | The occupational risk factors affecting workers in the public works area of the "Gobierno Autónomo Decentralizado" at Guano town (GADM-CG) impact workers, limit their capabilities and skills, reduce their efficiency, and directly affect the institution. This research contributes to the control and reduction of risk factors. The research's methodology consisted of a quantitative approach. It is a descriptive research and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The researcher used observational and survey methods, techniques, and scales to collect data. The tools used were surveys and measurement equipment. The research identified, analyzed, and proposed an intervention plan for occupational risk factors, applying legal and technical regulations in force in Ecuador. It started with the instruction of the Colombian Technical Guide (GTC-45) to assess the workers' exposure. Then, it was vital to evaluate the unacceptable risks using the following regulations: Exposure to noise at work INEN ISO 9612:2014; Lighting levels in workplaces - Mexican Official Standard (NOM 025); Mechanical risk - William Fine; Psychosocial risk - Ecuadorian Ministry of Labor Questionnaire; Ergonomic risk - quick stress assessment in offices (ROSA). It was essential to develop an intervention plan and action measures to decrease the impact of critical risk factors, prevention (Source), mitigation (Medium), and control (Individual) to reduce the effects of risk factors on workers. |
