Yhteenveto:ABSTRACT In the present research work called: "Educommunication: Diagnosis of the use and access of ICT's as an educational element in the institute" Jaime Roldós Aguilera "and" Nazareno ", period April-September 2019", the use of the new tools and digital platforms was analyzed in the educational process. It began with the definition of the problem, the objectives: general and specific, then the theoretical framework where reference is made to topics and subtopics related to the independent variable, continuing with the definition of terms, discussion of results and operationalization of the variables. The research methodology, methods, type, design, population and sample, data collection techniques and instruments, and procedural techniques for analysis. The survey technique was applied, which served for the analysis and interpretation of results. The data obtained from the survey served to determine the conclusions and recommendations. It is a research of great impact since the results obtained made it clear that there is a use of ICT with a higher percentage in the urban sector where the Unidad Educativa Cristiana Nazareno is located, while due to socio-cultural and economic factors it does not have a greater impact on the Instituto Pedagógico Intercultural Bilingüe Jaime Roldós Aguilera. The teachers of the two Educational Units handle new technologies, tools and virtual platforms, that is, they are at the forefront to put them into practice in the teaching-learning process.
