EL AIRE COMPRIMIDO, SU APLICACIÓN, EFECTOS Y VENTAJAS EN EL SISTEMA DE FRENO DE AIRE COMO RECURSO DIDÁCTICO PARA EL APRENDIZAJE DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE LA CARRERA DE MECÁNICA AUTOMOTRIZ, DE LA ESCUELA DE EDUCACIÓN TÉCNICA DE LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS DE LA EDUCACIÓN HUMANAS Y TECNOLOGÍAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE CHIMBORAZO. PERIODO AÑO LECTIVO 2012-2013

The present research has as main objective the study of the system of air brakes, implementation, effects and advantages, the process of safe braking for heavy transport, covering many basic concepts that make the work effective. The study of air brake system, provides knowledge to students of the Specialty Automotive Mechanics-National University of Chimborazo, on the operation of motor vehicles. Through research I have a mission to meet the needs of students; for which I have made a reference data collection, the results of the survey conducted on specific points of the thesis. The research methodology used is basic, descriptive, field type, longitudinal and quantitative literature - accompanied by qualitative research tools such as the survey of the students of the National University of Chimborazo Specialty Automotive Mechanics, and on all action research. In preparing the document is taken as reference the results of the surveys of students in the area, and based on them they proceeded to the elaboration of conclusions and recommendations. To help with a possible solution or maintenance guide, manual system study air brake was developed.
