| Resumo: | Nowadays, it is common for people the usage of mobile devices since they allow people access to the wireless internet network to maintain communication and transfer information. There is the HMIPV6 (Hierarchical Mobile IPv6) protocol to keep the internet connection between the access router (AR) and the mobile node (MN) with which the corresponding node is to communicate, and its modification to take advantage of bandwidth is HMIPv6-BI (Improve the Radio Channel Bandwidth in Hierarchical Mobile IPv6). This research present a topology for the simulation of the HMIPV6-BI protocol to reduce the use of bandwidth in wireless communication between AR and MN. Consequently, quality of service is provided using the implementation of IntServ6 whose primary function lies in the calculation of the hash key on the source host each time packets from the network arrive towards the router that performs the classification of packets in the NS-3 network simulator.NS-3 allows simulations to collect data on the parameters necessary to determine the performance of the network, such as Throughput, Jitter, BER, packet loos, bandwidth, and latency. It was compared and statistical analysis of said values with those of a network that does not use these protocols. These comparisons allow validating the functionality of IntServ6 on the HMIPV6-BI contract. |
