GUÍA DE TÉCNICAS DE ILUSTRACIÓN DE PERSONAJES MANGA Y ANIME MEDIANTE COLECCIÓN EDITORIAL DIRIGIDA A ESTUDIANTES DE DISEÑO

The present investigation is bom after identifying some weaknesses in students’ abilities and skills when employing Manga anime style. They were in Design major at third semester. Their weakness maybe is due to a lack of editorial products about Manga anime style which is not found neither in public libraries, nor in the National University of Chimborazo in Riobamba. Therefore, it does not encourage the study of the illustration of characters by using this style; so the illustration is a primary tool to captivate the attention of the observer. Information was obtained through the use of observation card and interviews. According to the data collected, research is done on the techniques of Anime manga character illustration. Therefore, it is proposed to apply some steps for a didactic guide and workshop using learning and approval process methodology, where the theoretical and practical aspects intertwined. Thus, students can project their ideas and messages through illustration. The present editorial product aims to raise awareness about the importance of knowledge and study of the Anime manga character illustration, because in one way or another it helps students to generate their own creative and original ideas.
