Estudio del discurso político utilizado por el candidato Yaku Pérez en las elecciones presidenciales del Ecuador, período noviembre 2020 - abril 2021

ABSTRACT: This research appears from the interest in the last elections in Ecuador. Especially in the participation of the candidate Yaku Pérez, period November 2020 - April 2021, taking into account his actions within the defense of nature, the fight for rights, and his selfidentification as an indigenous person, demonstrating to the public his roots and his government proposals. For this reason, the qualitative and quantitative methodology has been used since the analysis begins configuring the language use. What it says, how it says it, and why it says it; during its participation in the campaign within its interventions and proposals for the general public. In addition, recorded percentage data were concerning the analysis units classified and subcategories regarding discursive tactics and speech morphology. The techniques used were documentary review, critical discourse analysis, and interviews. The sample used was 80 videos of the candidate's speeches, obtained from his official Facebook social network page, including live broadcasts, press conferences, and interviews, allowing the presidential candidate's characteristics, strategies, and actions to be identified and linked to their ideology and work proposals. Finally, with the results obtained, a communicational product about the investigation has made, detailing essential points of what has been received from the analysis carried out.
