Riassunto:Luz Fidelidad (LIFI) is a realatively new form of wireless communication technology, uses the light spectrum and does not radio frecuency for sending data, therefore, does not emit any electromacnetic interference. It is very convenient for places highly sensitive to electromacnetic interference, as they can affect communication and disrupt the operation of sensitive equipment such as in hospitals. The LIFI transmitter and receiver consist of an LED range that is controller through a microcontroller programmed whit the principles of light signal processing. The LED array produces pulses of data that are interpreted by the receiver once the signal is electric. The one PC interprets the electrical signal as binary data. The LED lights will be connected in duplex hall mode allowing you to communicate between two computers by having a transmitter and receiver at each point. For the evaluation of the prototype, a scenario is set up to compare the operation of the LIFI and WIFI network. The parameter to be measured is the transmission time of the information considering the level of light in closed cases.
