“DISEÑO ARQUITECTONICO DEL TERMINAL TERRESTRE PARA EL CANTÓN ALAUSÍ”

The Alausí canton, is considered one of the most important tourist points of Ecuador, since it is located in the province with the largest natural reserve that exists in the country, this has generated in recent years a growing number of tourists and users own of the mentioned place, by means of the present investigation the proposal of a terrestrial terminal was realized, which has as main purpose to transport the people and to offer a service of quality by means of comfortable spaces, this account with a resistant structural design, which is endowed to resist different loads of earthquakes. For the development of the research, it was necessary to apply a set of methods that gave answers to the proposal of the design criteria and premises, through the Ecotect program, which provided a detailed report of which materials were the correct ones for the type of climate in which it was conceived. It should be noted that the descriptive, explanatory and exploratory method was used for the present investigation, since the tools used and the factors studied through a site analysis give rise to the aforementioned. Finally, it is summarized that the characteristics of the design of the proposed land terminal make it an important spatial milestone for the area studied, giving correct solutions regarding the need that is currently present in the Alausí canton.
