Resumo:The present investigation it has been made in the Children's Center Polytechnic, the topic that was investigated is Pictograms in the Development of Oral Expression and Writing in the children the 4 and 5 years of the Children's Center Polytechnic of the city Riobamba, province the Chimborazo in the period 2015 - 2016. For this it is identified the problem existing in the institution, what served us for to realize the formulating the problem and propose the objectives; After this the theory was consulted of the two existing variables, which served us fundamental pillar in this investigation. The methodology the investigation part of the non-experimental method; the design descriptive, of field, analytic and documentary bibliography and the type exploratory, the population correspond to 15 boys and 10 girls; subsequently applied then the observation sheet, the same that was designed based on the skills they have to develop at this age in the boys and girls, data that have been analyzed and quantified reaching the corresponding conclusions and recommendations, where it is determined the need to incorporate socio-educational activities based on notions space - temporary to develop personal autonomy.
