الوصف
الملخص:It is important that oral language is developed correctly in the childhood stage, since it fulfills a main function which is communication, using sounds pronounced with the voice. Therefore; In this research, the main objective was to determine how the delay in oral language influences the educational development of children in the initial sublevel 2, using a qualitative methodological approach, of a bibliographic and field type, with a non-experimental design, making use of the observation technique and supported by the applied instrument (observation sheet). The study was applied in the “Cacique Pintag” Basic Education School in the city of Riobamba, the total population of the study was 11 children from the initial sublevel 2 and due to the magnitude of its size, it is considered the same as a sample. Likewise, with the instrument applied, it was possible to verify the importance of the development of oral language in the educational and personal sphere of children, since, if they show a delay in oral language, it does not allow them to communicate with others, nor much less express their needs and emotions. According to the evaluation scale of the observation sheet, it was evident that 70% of the population present an adequate level of oral language, while 30% of the population presents difficulties with the level of oral language.
