This is why taking preventive necessary measures in order to avoid economic and social costs to workers and employers in current labor relations. Through alternative medicine focused on each person as an individual, you can get excellent health outcomes, integrating solar energy, water, land and plants; this is because we are beings that come from nature and if we enter into harmony with it, it is possible to cure any ailment. The application of alternative therapies helps muscle relaxation in patients with work stress attending the Andino Alternativo Hospital in the Riobamba city. The study was descriptive-explanatory type, with a sample of 50 patients selected by inclusion criteria; the information was obtained from records of assessing patients and case histories, the methods used for the research were the scientific method, the inductive and deductive method; documentary-literature research was also conducted to compare the theoretical with the practical; then proceeded to the tabulation of information, determined that the highest percentage of patients with work-related stress corresponded to the female gender with 62% and more predominant age was 20 to 30 years with a percentage of 40%.The most common clinical manifestation in patients with work-related stress was muscle spasm, joint stiffness and limitation in activities of daily life with 30%, 24% also presented headache, vomiting and dizziness as gastrointestinal problems and 22% of patients have depression. Through the scale of the initial assessment the pain that the patient before being served is moderate with 68%, 24% of people have severe pain and 8% mild pain. The optimal time patients must attend therapy during the research process gave a result that two months is the best time to get positive results; referring to pain that can be measured by EVAS scale is shown that after application of the 50% alternative therapies are painless. As a conclusion that research was vital to determine the type of work stress and results with the application of alternative therapy. |
