Résumé:The objective of the present study was to analyze the most frequent errors using the bisector technique for the periapical radiographs. It was constituted by 110 radiographs donated by the professor of the Chair of Imaging of the Career of Dentistry that were used for educational purposes, which were subjected to selection criteria obtaining a sample of 100 radiographs. The observation technique was used to analyze the radiographs and as an instrument the evaluation sheet to record the existing errors. Each one of the radiographic errors was explained, according to these parameters, they were classified as errors during the technique and failures during the processing. As a result, there were 172 radiographic errors in the films, with a percentage of 41.9% that were errors during processing and 58.1% were errors during the application of the technique. Concluding that the radiographic mistakes during the use of the method were more frequent in comparison to the errors during the processing.
