| Summary: | The present work is a study made on the basis of a character representative of the peninsular tradition "El Animero", with the purpose of knowing the iconographic identity and its cultural incidence in the inhabitants of the cantonal capital of 18 to 30 years. To speak of cultural incidence is to refer to the identity of the peninsula as an ancestral symbol that has come to be affected by transculturization in the new generations. Within the methodological process the main factors that the residents identify were described, the research design was non-experimental since the variables were not manipulated, the data collection techniques were also detailed that allowed to obtain specific information of the inhabitants of the cantonal header and experts in the area through questionnaire surveys and interview guide. Taking as sample 238 respondents and 6 experts in the subject. The theory that was used was the cultural anthropology, where the past and the present of this tradition could be analyzed, taking into account that if this ritual is not socialized to the young people in an adequate way it could disappear, it is important that authorities of the canton Penipe continue to strengthen and promote their ancestral legacy through talks and dramatizations where they make known the importance of conservation and how the Animero ritual is developed. Communication is the fundamental source for the development of peoples and for the conservation of values and cultural traditions. |
