The methodology consisted of a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, based on a systematic review of the scientific literature. The search was conducted in high-impact biomedical databases (PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, Scopus, and Web of Science), applying inclusion and exclusion criteria to select relevant studies published since 2019, mostly in English, but also in Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and Russian. These findings offer new opportunities for personalized management of preeclampsia but require validation in more diverse populations. Future research should focus on integrating these genetic and epigenetic markers into clinical protocols to improve early diagnosis, treatment, and maternal-fetal outcomes. |

Se identificaron modelos animales clave y biomarcadores como sFlt-1/PlGF y ELABELA, útiles para el diagnóstico temprano, aunque aún existen desafíos en su estandarización y aplicación clínica debido a la heterogeneidad de los estudios y la variabilidad genética entre diferentes poblaciones. La metodología consistió en una investigación descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo, basada en una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica. Se realizó una búsqueda en bases de datos biomédicas de alto impacto (PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, Scopus y Web of Science), aplicando criterios de inclusión y exclusión para seleccionar estudios relevantes publicados desde 2019, en su mayoría en inglés, pero también en español, portugués, chino y ruso. Estos hallazgos ofrecen nuevas oportunidades para un manejo personalizado de la preeclampsia, pero requieren validación en poblaciones más diversas.
