| Shrnutí: | The need of having a safe environment and precise working places for the Secretary and Vice Dean Departments of the Engineering College, based on an anthropometric study, allowed us to carry out and implementing a prototype of a ergonomic chair which will improve the health and Security conditions by reducing the risk factors and illness problems in professionals. The research design is based on measurements about visualization screens, keyboards, workstations and others, thus the application of a matrix to establish the present risks on work places and the priority of each one of the risk factors in order to suggest some prevention actions that will reduce the professional accidents and illness probabilities by getting comfort in the work place. When noise, light and temperature levels are determined within the accepted legal parameters, and thermal stress that affects the worker´s health do not exist, the preventing norms should be reinforced, as well as the implementation of an ergonomic mouse pad that will diminish illnesses like the carpal tunnel, tendinitis, among others, and in other cases psychosocial troubles due to the overwork that promotes the generation of an Active Pause Manual that will benefit the comfort. |
