סיכום:This study was carried out with the aim of analyzing the importance of Graphomotricity for the development of Visuo-Motor Coordination in children aged 4 to 5 years at the Christian Nazarene Educational Unit, located in Riobamba, Chimborazo Province. Adopting a mixed approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative methods, and employing a field and documentary research design, the objective was to describe the level of development in this skill. The study population included children aged 4 to 5 years from the "Christian Nazarene" Educational Unit and the teachers in charge of this group. The sample, consisting of 21 students selected through convenience sampling, was assessed using a checklist. The results revealed that 42% of the population is in the process of developing the skill of following patterns and directed strokes in graphomotor activities. Furthermore, the importance of visuo-motor coordination in child development is emphasized, highlighting its influence on learning and hand-eye coordination. As a recommendation, strengthening creative play is suggested to enhance creativity and reinforce the graphomotor process in these children.
