Summary:The current educational system has evolved alongside the advancement of technology. As a result, there is a need for greater use of interactive digital resources in classrooms, especially for the General Chemistry subject. These are innovative tools and of great benefit for the development of knowledge, as they help students reinforce content, acquire knowledge, organize ideas and quickly understand information. This implies moving away from traditional resources such as books, brochures and non-interactive slides, which do not significantly improve the process of constructing knowledge. Consequently, the following research objective was set: “To propose Wix and Wordwall as teaching resources for learning General Chemistry, with second semester students of the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences Chemistry and Biology major” A quantitative approach research methodology was applied, through a non-experimental design and a type of bibliographic and field study, at a descriptive level, the research methods were analysis and synthesis, inductive-deductive. To collect data, the working population was 33 students and a structured survey of 10 questions with a Likert scale assessment was applied. After having carried out the analysis and interpretation of results, it was concluded that Wix and Wordwall are updated interactive teaching resources, because they strengthen learning by allowing students to explore information, build knowledge, and review theory. In addition, they make the learning process more dynamic and meaningful.
