Estudio descriptivo - analítico del museo arqueológico de la Parroquia Punín Cantón Riobamba, Provincia de Chimborazo para conservar el patrimonio cultural material de la Provincia

The following research is oriented to the descriptive - analytical study of the Archaeological Museum of the parish Punín canton Riobamba, province of Chimborazo to preserve the material cultural heritage of the province, the study prepared is focused on carrying out a documentary and analytical situational survey of the Museum, this carried out through the participation of the local population, as well as the inventory of the archaeological pieces deposited in this institution, with the main objective of making this heritage known in the area of the valuation and promotion of local and regional history. In this study, the research actions had as their premise the realization of a field survey of the museum and its collection of archaeological material culture, the realization of encounters and interviews with key subjects for the understanding of the relationship of the local population and these manifestations, the compilation of the history of the museum, which finally, generate proposals for the recovery of this space and finally the promotion of public policies that can sustain and support the tourism promotion of the parish, present in the final conclusions and recommendations. Finally, this research contains generalities, definition of Archaeology, Heritage, Public Policies and the analysis of the historical and environmental contextualization of the study area, inventory of the archaeological material culture and weightings related to the qualitative work carried out together with the local population. The technique that was used is the observation of the objects with their respective existing file in the museum, also through the testimonies as a source of information collection that contributes to the investigation with its respective instrument that is the interview. Ending with the interpretation of the files studied and represented in the work, with their characteristics and historical aspects.
