This research work seeks to take advantage of the existing thermal resource, through an architectural proposal that implements spaces to generate and enhance the economic activity of the Kunugyaku complex, as well as develop spaces for relaxation and enjoyment of the crystalline waters, which are favored by a natural environment of high mountains with an altitude of approximately 3670 m above sea level. The project starts with conceptual research, which precedes the diagnosis of the place until reaching the architectural proposal, which focuses on encouraging tourism to promote economic activity in the sector. |

Pilahuin es la parroquia rural con el mayor índice de pobreza de Ambato, a pesar de ello se caracteriza por su vasta riqueza natural, como es el caso del recurso geotermal Kunugyaku, el cual actualmente se presenta como un lugar rudimentario construido según la disponibilidad económica de la comunidad 10 de Octubre. El presente trabajo de fin de carrera busca de aprovechar el recurso termal existente, por medio de una propuesta arquitectónica que implemente espacios destinados a generar y potenciar la actividad económica del complejo Kunugyaku, así como desarrollar espacios de relajación y disfrute de las aguas cristalinas, que se favorecen de un entorno natural de alta montaña con altitud aproximada de 3670 m sobre el nivel del mar.
