Summary:The research project aims to determine if the practice of tongue twisters contributes to the child's linguistic development in initial level 2 of the Educational Unit "Combatients of Tapi" period 2021. In developing the thesis, the results were by conducting several demonstration classes and applying an observation sheet to a population of 25 boys and girls ranging from 3 to 5 years of age. The data are presented with tables and graphs accompanied by their respective analysis and discussion. The methodology used is descriptive since it was detailed and described several benefits of tongue twisters and how they affect children's linguistic development. The study concluded that the constant practice of tongue twisters helps to work memory and exercises vocalization. Must implement un activities in our classrooms that help develop the imagination and create interest in language and reading to achieve a quality education.
