| Shrnutí: | Social skills are learned behaviors that help human beings to be effective in their interpersonal relationships because thanks to these skills they can adapt without any problem to any context in which they find themselves, being experienced behaviors must be acquired from an early age and are trained throughout their development to be a socially skilled and happy being. This research entitled "The development of social skills in the educational coexistence of children of the initial level 2 of the educational unit "United Nations", Pelileo canton, province of Tungurahua", had the main objective to determine the importance of social skills in school coexistence in children of the initial level, it is based on bibliographical references selected from reliable sources such as theses, journal articles, university repositories, books, and websites. It has a mixed approach with a descriptive research level since the collection of the obtained data was analyzed, observation was applied as a technique and the instrument was an observation card made up of 8 indicators and 3 valuation scales (always, sometimes, and never), working with 29 students who were 14 boys and 15 girls. The results obtained show that social skills do influence school coexistence and that there are students who have difficulty relating to their classmates, while others do not abide by the rules of coexistence in the classroom. Given these results, it is concluded that social skills are indispensable in educational coexistence and that to learn them, creative activities should be used, thus benefiting the child to be able to adapt to any context without any difficulty and to have a good social development throughout his life |
